Burglary Near You - Little Horton Lane BD5

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Little Horton Lane, this occurred on Sunday 12th July between 1000hrs -1440hrs. 

Victim leaves the house locked and secured at roughly 10am and returns around 1440hrs to find windows smashed to living room, untidy searches have ben made in upstairs bedroom and items are missing to the value of £400.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between 1000hrs-1440hrs to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
